Volunteering Experience

I am the person I am today because of the countless hands that have lifted me along my journey. From mentors who shared their wisdom to strangers whose kindness left lasting impressions, I have been fortunate to experience the profound power of community. This has instilled in me an unshakable belief in giving back — a belief that drives me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, no matter how small the act may seem.

Here are some of the ways I’ve embraced this calling through volunteering and community service:

• Member of Ummed NGO(Certificate)

  • Accomplished a personal fundraising goal of INR 20,000 to provide vital assistance to families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Mentored over 20 underprivileged children in impoverished slum areas, resulting in academic improvements, and increased enthusiasm for academics.
  • Engaged with diverse communities through personal outreach and local engagement initiatives to provide essential resources, and build a more supportive environment for underprivileged individuals.

• Member of National Service Scheme (NSS) @ University of Delhi(Certificate)

  • Organized skill-building workshops for people with disabilities, enabling over 50 participants to develop employable skills such as handicrafts and computer literacy.
  • Coordinated accessibility audits across campus facilities, resulting in the improvement in infrastructure for people with disabilities, including ramps, and signage.
  • Led fundraising initiatives that collected INR 50,000, used to provide assistive devices such as white canes, Braille books, and hearing aids to over 25 individuals with disabilities.
